David was brought to FormaHoof due to his work with the Irish Horse Welfare Trust and became a great fan of the opportunities FormaHoof provides for various hoof related issues and disease. A farrier with great experience and a very helpful hand for many horses which arrive with common hoof conditions, which is often the case for rescued horses at the IHWT. The IHWT is very happy with the services David provides saying “A huge thank you to our farrier David Donnelly for his continued support throughout the year and for the very generous donation that he has just made to the IHWT. The job of a farrier is a tough one and David does fantastic work ensuring that all our rescues feet are kept in good order. He has wonderful patience and a great way with all our horses which is vital when dealing with rescued equines.” Working closely together with FCA Philip Nugent, David provides his services around Wexford, Wicklow and South Co. Dublin (other counties on request). David has completed the FormaHoof Certified Applicator Course where hoof care professionals are assessed to ensure their applications are consistent and meet FormaHoof standards.
